Through international residencies, visiting artists, and a distinguished alumni network—including some of the most respected professionals in their disciplines—the Academy is committed to training future world‑class performers and practitioners.

Digital Learning and Library (DLL) enhances the technical and educational support for teaching and learning at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. It promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in education by leveraging AI, advanced tools, multimedia, and innovative pedagogy to enable technology‑driven, outcome‑based teaching and learning.

The Senior e‑Learning Technologist plays a key role in implementing the Academy's digital learning strategy under the leadership of the Principal Head (Digital Learning & Information Management). Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing digital learning projects from conception to delivery; providing pedagogical and technical expertise to support blended and online course development; and leading the production of online learning projects such as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) or Small Private Online Courses (SPOC). Core duties include fostering collaboration across Schools and departments to enable innovative learning technologies, projects, and events; coordinating with the Academy Library and other units to ensure synergy between digital resources and learning initiatives; organising and executing training workshops, seminars, and showcases to build digital capability; assisting in programme evaluation, learning assessment, and data analytics to support evidence‑based decision‐making; and contributing to strategic planning and reports.

  • A successful track record of experience in developing learning solutions, including the development of user guides, online resources, multimedia content, video, and face‑to‑face teaching with staff, both individually and in groups.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of e‑Learning development tools and LMS management is desirable.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Terms of Appointment

Appointment will be on a two‑year renewable contract, subject to performance and mutual agreement. A gratuity payment may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
