Job summary

Hong Kong Golf and Tennis Academy is seeking a Senior Duty Engineer to lead day-to-day engineering operations, coordinate maintenance work, and promptly respond to technical issues across the Academy’s facilities.

The role requires proven supervisory experience in building services operation, strong troubleshooting and emergency-response skills, and a hands-on, service-oriented approach. Cantonese and English proficiency preferred; rostered shifts including weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma, Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) required or advantage if holding other trade qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily engineering operations and maintenance across the Academy.
• Supervise outsourced technician team, allocate shifts, monitor performance and service quality.
• Coordinate maintenance access with operating departments to minimise disruptions to patrons and events.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs and incident reports; ensure proper handovers.
• Support statutory inspections, safety compliance, energy conservation and improvement works.
• Coach team members and reinforce safe working practices and accountability.
