Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager on all aspects of geotechnical engineering design works including piling foundation, жыл, ELS, slope stability ہزار ground treatment etc;
• Provide technical inputs for geotechnical design and consulting assignments;
• Coordinate between construction team, clients, government agencies, design institutes, and other stakeholders to facilitate project implementation;
• Assist in technical proposal preparation, prepare design documents and assessment report;

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience in geotechnical engineering or relevant sector(s)
• Candidates with previous experiences in working as design geotechnical engineer on foundation and excavation and lateral support works will be an advantage;
• Familiar with latest design standards/codes and government submission procedures;
• Knowledge of the geotechnical software especially PLAXIS, Slope-W and preferably structural software SAP2000 as well.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to meet various deadlines to complete tasks and project works assigned
• Self-motivated with high personal drive for achievements and success
• Good command of both written and spoken English while Chinese language skills are preferred
• Candidates with professional qualification(s) are preferred
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Design Engineer.
