• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics or BI
• Strong SQL with complex datasets

Responsabilidades

• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights
• Collaborate with business users, product teams, technology teams, and stakeholders to define analytical requirements
• Translate business requirements into data analysis, reporting, and dashboard solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain data visualisations and management dashboards
• Produce regular and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making
• Define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements with stakeholders
• Validate data quality and reconcile discrepancies in reporting
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL and related tools
• Present analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

Keyrus is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join a high-profile financial services environment in Hong Kong on a secondment basis.

The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyse complex datasets, develop meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making within an investment banking, capital markets, trading, or financial markets environment.

This role would suit a data analyst who combines strong analytical capabilities with solid understanding of financial markets and is comfortable translating business requirements into data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
• Work closely with business users, product teams, technology teams, and other stakeholders to understand analytical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into data analysis, reporting, and dashboard solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data visualisations and management dashboards.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc analysis to support business and operational decision-making.
• Work with stakeholders to define appropriate KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
• Validate data quality, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL and relevant data tools.
• Present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to improvements in data reporting, analytics processes, and visualisation standards.
• Collaborate with technology and data teams on data-related projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Strong experience with SQL and working with structured and complex datasets.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Strong understanding of data visualisation and dashboard development.
• Experience working in investment banking, capital markets, securities, trading, financial markets, or a closely related financial services environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical findings clearly.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with Tableau, particularly developing dashboards and interactive visualisations.
• Experience with other BI / visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or similar.
• Understanding of trading, market data, securities, investment products, or financial market operations.
• Experience working with large-scale financial datasets or market data.
• Experience in data quality, reconciliation, or reporting within financial services.
• Exposure to Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
• Experience working in a large enterprise or regulated financial institution.

Candidates with experience supporting trading desks, investment banking, capital markets, securities, market data, or financial products will be highly relevant.

Tableau experience is a strong advantage, especially for candidates who have independently built dashboards and reporting solutions rather than only consuming existing reports.
