Job summary

OKX is seeking a highly skilled cryptography researcher to design and migrate PQC algorithms within our wallet/security stack. You will help develop the MPC wallet cryptography library and evaluate Web3 cryptography technologies.

You'll conduct security audits of wallet-layer code, contribute to cryptography standards, and document technology selections. A strong background in post-quantum cryptography and MPC is essential, with proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Go, or Java.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Cryptography, Mathematics, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong theoretical cryptography background including public-key and lattice-based schemes.
• Research experience in post-quantum cryptography and MPC.
• Experience with zero-knowledge proofs and cryptographic protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, assess migration paths for, and implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms within existing signature and key management systems; track the latest developments in cutting-edge PQC standards such as lattice-based cryptography
• Design and develop the underlying cryptography library for MPC wallet / Web3 security products
• Research Web3-ecosystem cryptography technologies and produce technology selection reports and related technical documentation
• Conduct security audits of wallet-layer signature code and cryptographic protocol implementations
• Participate in defining the team's cryptography technical standards and enforce security red lines for cryptography-related code
