Job summary

OKX is seeking a Staff‑level mobile engineer to own core account‑system subsystems, including authentication, MFA, and Passkey/WebAuthn. You will shape secure, scalable flows for millions of users and collaborate with risk and security teams to implement defenses.

Strong Rust and cross‑platform experience are highly valued, with a focus on AI‑assisted development. We value engineers who raise standards, mentor teammates, and can drive cross‑team architectural decisions in a fast‑growing fintech

Qualifications

• Deep, hands‑on experience building native iOS and/or Android apps.
• Experience with cross‑platform or shared business logic (Rust + UniFFI).
• Strong CS fundamentals and proficiency in one of Swift/Kotlin/Rust/Objective‑C/Java/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Own account‑system subsystems end‑to‑end — authentication, MFA, Passkey/WebAuthn, session & device trust.
• Design secure, low‑friction flows at millions of DAU scale.
• Partner with risk & security teams to ship mobile defenses.
• Build AI‑native engineering practices and automated workflows.
• Raise the bar through design and code review to improve team delivery.
• For Staff level: set technical direction across cross‑team solutions.
