Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited on Hong Kong Island seeks an experienced professional to assist in the recovery and workout of non-performing loans for small-to-medium sized businesses, providing initial advice on strategies and overseeing execution with internal approvals.

You will prepare comprehensive business analytical reports for upper management, liaise with debtors and professionals to discuss debt restructuring or repayment plans, and monitor changes in the portfolio of non-performing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
5+ years of relevant banking experience.
Competent written and spoken Chinese and English.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
Knowledge of corporate banking, retail credit and related banking products & docs preferred.
HKIB Banking Professional Qualification - CRM or related qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the recovery and workout of non-performing loans for SMEs.
Provide preliminary advice on collection strategies, repayment plans or legal action; obtain internal approvals and oversee execution.
Prepare comprehensive business analytical reports for upper management.
Liaise with debtors and professionals to discuss debt restructuring or repayment plans.
Monitor and report on changes in the portfolio of non-performing assets; analyze drivers and submit regular updates.
