Job Description

• Perform all activities related to the overall design, administration, maintenance, enhancement, testing, performance tuning, etc. for the proposed data warehouse.
• Provide advice and technical support to the maintenance teams on the database definitions, data schemas design and subject definition, performance monitoring and tuning, security consideration, data conversion strategy, etc.
• Design and implement business intelligence applications including data mining.
• Produce and maintain relevant documentation including but not limited to database specification, data manual and database administration manual.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures pertaining to the management, security, and use of the data warehouse/database.
• Deliver skills transfer and training sessions on management and use of the proposed data warehouse/database to technical personnel involved.

Job Requirements

• University degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data warehouse administration.
• Minimum 2 years of IT experience in application development with Java, popular Java Application Framework, Agile Development and DevOps Experience.
• Familiar with Government IT Project(s) would be advantage.
• Good attitude. Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn.
• Able to work independently.
• Excellent team player.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Candidate with lesser experience will be considered in a junior position.
