Job summary

Nomura is hiring a Senior Cloud-Native Software Engineer for its HK Equity Risk IT team. You will drive cloud-native transformation of a front-office platform serving flow, structured, and delta-one desks globally, with a hybrid work arrangement.

The role requires 5+ years' experience in multi-language development (C#, Go, Kotlin), hands-on AWS/Kubernetes, and deep equity derivatives knowledge. You will collaborate with traders and business teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IS or related discipline.
• 5+ years' application development in multiple languages (C#, Go, Kotlin).
• Hands-on with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3) and Kubernetes (Rancher).
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS + on-premises).
• Solid understanding of P&L attribution and risk measures for flow derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop cloud-native applications on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Build scalable, low-latency systems for derivatives pricing and risk management.
• Implement microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures for real-time trading workflows.
• Lead and collaborate with global development teams across QA, Support, and business units.
