Job summary

Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd is seeking an experienced cloud architect/engineer to design, implement and manage multi-cloud environments for business units in Hong Kong.

You will develop IaC scripts, improve monitoring and cybersecurity controls, and work with DevOps to ensure a scalable hosting platform. Strong English and Chinese communication required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 8+ years IT experience, 3–5 years in public cloud management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP/Huawei) to support apps across units.
• Develop IaC scripts to manage cloud resources.
• Enhance monitoring and cyber security controls; track remediation.
• Collaborate with DevOps to maintain stable, scalable hosting environments.

Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines

Minimum 8 years of IT experience, of which 3-5 years' solid experience in public cloud management

Proven experience on managing public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP and Huawei Cloud

Hands-on experience in cloud security management including CSPM, IAM, WAF, data encryption, etc.

Certification on AWS/Azure Solution Architect, Huawei Cloud HCIE - Cloud Service Solutions Architect, Certified Cloud Security Professional preferred

Proficiency in using and managing GitLab, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

Strong knowledge of the requirements of ISO 27001 an advantage

Familiar with AI tools and services in the cloud such as Amazon Quick, Huawei Cloud MaaS, Tencent Cloud TokenHub, etc.

Good analytic, problem solving and communication skills in both Chinese and English

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Huawei Cloud) to support application development and hosting for different business units

Develop IaC scripts to manage cloud resources

Improve system monitoring and cybersecurity control, track the issues and follow up the remediation tasks.

Work closely with DevOps team to maintain a stable, scalable and secure hosting environment for different projects

Adopt the best practices to fulfill the requirements of ISO 27001 on information security for cloud operation

Provide quality support (sometimes in non-office hours) to maintain normal business operation
