Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is a leading insurer offering Life, Health and General Insurance solutions. We seek a capable Business Analyst to work across COO operations, collaborating with Product, Actuarial, Marketing and Program Office to deliver process improvements and data-driven insights.

You will gather requirements, specify business needs, and support UAT and training activities. The role emphasizes strong communication, analytical skills, and teamwork within a dynamic insurance environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, statistics, quantitative analysis or related disciplines.
• 5+ years proven experience in business analysis in life insurance industry.
• Strong communication skills (written & spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Well organized, self-initiative and a good team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; financial/business analysis including Excel, Power BI and Power Automate.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Manager to handle product development, operation enhancements and production support on behalf of end-users within COO Division.
• Collaborate with Product, Actuarial, Marketing and Program Office on behalf of end-users on projects.
• Develop or modify operation workflow and processes.
• Gather requirements to produce Business Requirements Specification (BRS).
• Review IT documents to ensure alignment of user requirements between IT and end-users.
• Execute User Acceptance Tests and perform verification testing.
• Produce product/system training, demonstrations, walkthroughs configurations and testing.
• Collect system and process data to perform business and data analysis.
• Manage administrative matters within Operations Project Team.
• Propose alternative solutions to address operation needs.
