Job summary

All Star Agency in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Associate – Financial Administration & Expense Control to support expenditure management and accounting activities within the Finance & Administration Department. You will oversee expense-payment checks, assist with budget monitoring and prepare financial information to support accurate reporting and effective cost control.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in expense payments, financial administration and general accounting.
• Practical knowledge of invoice checking, expense coding, payment processing and accrual adjustments.
• Experience supporting budget monitoring and preparing monthly expense analysis reports.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review office expense payments against approved budgets, monitor expenditure and highlight potential overruns or discrepancies for follow-up.
• Prepare monthly expense analysis reports for management, supporting the monitoring of spending patterns and budget utilisation.
• Verify invoices and supporting documentation, prepare payment certificates and process expense payments through the relevant systems.
• Assign appropriate expense account and branch codes to invoices, ensuring expenditure is accurately allocated to the correct cost units.
• Maintain complete accounting records and historical expense-payment data to support management analysis, budgeting and planning.
• Prepare profit and loss accrual adjustments and input the corresponding entries into the accounting system.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen expense-payment system controls and improve processing accuracy, operational effectiveness and efficiency.
