Job summary

BDO Limited in Hong Kong invites applications for Senior Associate/Associate in IT Advisory (Risk Advisory Services). You will conduct audit planning, risk assessment, IT testing and control evaluation, and prepare audit reports for clients.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/CS/IS and at least 1 year IT audit experience; CISA/CISM/CISSP/CCSP are preferred. Skills in Python, Visual Basic, Tableau or Alteryx are a plus, with strong English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year IT audit experience.
• CISA/CISM/CISSP/CCSP holder preferred.
• Knowledge of IT controls and cybersecurity regulatory requirements.
• Data Analytics knowledge an advantage.
• Proactive with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct audit planning, risk assessment, IT testing and control evaluation;

Prepare audit reports, verify corresponding issues, present investigation findings and offer recommendation to clients;

conduct follow up review on corrective actions for clients;

Manage audit work in accordance with professional standards and complete assignments in an effective manner;

Enforce internal audit standards by updating internal audit policies, procedures and manuals according to latest regulatory requirements;

Provide IT audit assistance to external auditors whenever required.

What you'll bring

Degree holder in Accounting, Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines;

At least 1 year of IT audit experience;

CISA, CISM, CISSP or CCSP holder is highly preferred;

Knowledge of IT controls and cybersecurity related regulatory requirements;

Knowledge in Data Analytics will be an advantage;

Familiar with Python, Visual Basic, Tableau or Alteryx will be an advantage

Proactive, with sound analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;

Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
