Job summary

Rocco Design Architects Ltd is seeking a Senior Architect for projects in Hong Kong. The candidate should be a Full member of HKIA or a Registered Architect in Hong Kong with at least 5 years post-qualification experience on Hong Kong projects.

Experience as Project Architect for construction phase and familiarity with statutory submissions are highly valued. Design skill to develop and resolve practical buildability issues is pre-requisite.

Qualifications

• HKIA member or Registered Architect in HK is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience as an Architect for HK projects.
• 4 years as Project Architect during construction of new buildings and A&A projects in HK is highly preferred.
• Ability to develop design and resolve buildability issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and coordination for projects.
• Manage contract administration and site-related duties.
• Ensure compliance with HK statutory submissions and regulations.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with consultants.

Job description

Rocco Design Architects Ltd is seeking Senior Architect for projects in Hong Kong. The minimum qualifications required for the posts shall be as follows:

Senior Architect

Full member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) or a Registered Architect in Hong Kong

Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience as an Architect (in architecture) for Hong Kong projects, with good design skills, contract administration and familiar with statutory submissions.

Practice experience with minimum 4 years in the capacity as the Project Architect during construction phase of new building projects and A&A projects in Hong Kong is highly preferred.

Design skill to develop and resolve practical buildability issues is pre-requisite.
