Job summary

Tricor Group is seeking an experienced Senior/Business Analyst (Application) to join its Technology and Operations team in Hong Kong. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, ensure stability and governance for critical applications, and drive system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development and production support.
• Hands-on project experience with DataBricks, Python, and Power BI.
• Solid experience with version control, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows using GitHub, as well as CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assume key responsibilities on behalf of the Application Owner to ensure operational stability, governance, and service continuity.
• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications from diverse stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and actionable system enhancement plans.
• Monitor and track the progress of development and support activities carried out by offshore development teams.
• Oversee the full system development lifecycle, including programming, testing, implementation, maintenance, enhancements, and ongoing support.
• Lead internal SIT and provide UAT support, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Provide daily BAU support to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction.
• Drive and support DevOps processes, practices, and tooling to enhance speed, quality, and reliability of software delivery.
