Job summary

MCG Asia, a fast-growing fintech platform, is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to build high-quality Android experiences for a rapid user growth. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into intuitive features that engage users.

The role emphasizes performance, security, and scalable mobile apps. 3–6 years of Android development, strong Kotlin (or Java), and experience with Jetpack, MVVM, and RESTful APIs are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and/or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into intuitive, user-friendly features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Optimise application performance, stability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Integrate APIs and work closely with backend teams on system architecture and data flows.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
