Job summary

Sun Life Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Manager, ALM Valuation to lead ALM valuation, financial reporting and regulatory reporting workstreams. You will oversee asset modelling, earnings analyses, and scenario testing, coordinating with Actuarial, Investments, Finance and Risk teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years in actuarial/ALM roles, a related degree, and professional progress (CFA/FRM preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or related discipline required.
• Actuarial, CFA, FRM or equivalent progress/preferred qualification is advantageous.
• 8–12 years in insurance, actuarial, ALM, financial reporting, investment analytics or risk management with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual ALM valuation and financial reporting workstreams.
• Oversee asset modelling, yield projections and sensitivity analyses for valuation and planning.
• Coordinate HKRBC economic scenario generation and calibration processes.
• Guide assumption updates for discount rates and investment return models.
• Ensure governance, control and compliance deliverables for valuation processes and committees.
