Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is assisting a leading bank in Hong Kong to hire for AI Model Governance and risk management roles.

The candidate will standardize governance processes, oversee AI model development, and ensure compliance with HKMA guidance across multiple business units. Requirements include 3-5 years in model governance or risk, strong NLP and DL skills, and fluency in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• University Degree Holder in Quantitative Study / Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3-5 years' experience in Model Risk Management / Model Governance / AI Model Governance Processes.
• AI Risk Management in Banks / Finance Sectors.
• Proficiency in NLP, Tree-based models, Deep Learning, Python or R NumPy, Pandas.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English including Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsabilités

• Standardize the AI Model Governance processes and AI Risk Management Assessment Techniques for a 2LOD role focusing on AI Development.
• Manage all the credit risk models, stress testing, BASEL projects in the Bank.
• Supervise ongoing governance and adoption of bank-wide AI models.
• Work with different business units to perform detailed AI Model Governance for ongoing development of AI Data Model.
• Create and maintain AI Policy Development, AI Use Case Assessment, Compliance Monitoring per HKMA Guidance.
• AI Model Repository and gatekeeper to ensure governance standards are followed.
