Job summary

SilverX Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join on-site. You will build AI inference infrastructure and user-facing products that process real-world health data into actionable insights for clients.

You will own architecture decisions, collaborating closely with the CTO, and mentoring junior engineers while shipping reliable, secure software. This role demands strong cloud, container, and full-stack capabilities and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing and building agentic AI systems, including tool use or multi-step reasoning.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Track record shipping reliable, secure, production-grade software.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).
• Strong cross-functional communication in English and Chinese.
• Experience in healthtech/regulated industries; ML model serving or MLOps; wearables data.

The Role

We're looking for a full-time Senior AI Engineer to join our team on-site in Hong Kong. You will build our AI inference infrastructure and user-facing products that process real-world health data and translate it into actionable intelligence for our clients.

This is a high-ownership role in a dynamic team. You'll have direct impact on architecture decisions and work closely with our CTO.

What You'll Do

• Architect and ship agentic AI solutions where AI agents reason, plan, and act within corporate workflows
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs powering our Health Intelligence Engine
• Build responsive, high-quality web interfaces and cross-platform mobile experiences
• Drive code quality, system reliability, and engineering best practices across the team
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape the technical direction of the platform
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4-6 years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Proven experience designing and building agentic AI systems, including tool use, multi-step reasoning pipelines, or autonomous agent workflows
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• A track record of shipping reliable, secure, well-tested software in production
• A skilled, day-to-day user of AI coding agents (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot), you treat them as a genuine force multiplier and know their strengths and limitations
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a cross-functional, mission-driven team
• Ability to communicate in Chinese and English fluently for effective communication
• Experience in healthtech, medtech, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with ML model serving or MLOps
• Exposure to wearable data integrations
