Job summary

Job description

We are seeking an experienced AI engineer or data/computational scientist to lead our AI Solution Team, driving strategic technical direction, cross-industry client deliverables, and high-performing team growth. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex mathematical research and robust, scalable enterprise AI architectures while managing end-to-end project execution and mentoring a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and expand the AI Solution Team, cultivating a culture of technical excellence and collaborative innovation.
• Scope, architect, and manage complex client projects from discovery to production deployment, ensuring on-time delivery aligned with business objectives.
• Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-grade AI systems, multi-modal pipelines (text, image, etc.), and advanced agentic architectures.
• Serve as the primary technical partner for executive stakeholders, translating business challenges into computational and statistical solutions.
• Establish best practices for MLOps, code quality, model evaluation, and cross-functional workflows across data engineering and product development.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in applied AI, Data Science, or Computational Science.
• Proven track record in technical team management and delivering enterprise AI solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, algorithm design, data structures, and mathematical modeling.
• Demonstrated experience with LLM orchestration, agentic programming, and productionizing multi-modal AI systems.
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis, data engineering paradigms, and enterprise SQL/NoSQL database architectures.
• Humble, accountable, and proactive leadership style with strong strategic problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese with exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
