Job summary

Bosch in Hong Kong seeks an experienced AI Agent Developer to design, build, deploy, and optimize autonomous AI agents that automate business processes and support decision-making. The role combines Generative AI, LLMs, and enterprise integration to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Python experience, expertise with Azure AI Services, and a strong background in building RESTful microservices. Bosch offers a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, including hands-on experience building asynchronous services with FastAPI.
Solid Database knowledge across SQL and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure AI Services / Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Blob Storage).
Hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions, LLMs, RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
Experience with code-first AI agent and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, LangChain).
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
Experience with containerization and deploying applications to container orchestration platforms (Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes).
Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design and develop autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents using modern agent frameworks.
Build scalable, high-performance backend microservices, asynchronous workers, and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Design, optimize, and maintain relational and non-relational database schemas, queries, and data storage layers supporting AI workflows.
Integrate with and consume enterprise data from Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, and internal data lakes to power agent workflows and RAG pipelines.
Leverage Azure Cloud & AI Services for scalable model serving, storage, and retrieval.
Build and maintain multi-agent systems that collaborate to achieve business objectives.
Develop AI workflows leveraging LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and knowledge management systems.
Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, ERP, CRM, procurement, and workflow platforms.
Create tools, plugins, and function-calling capabilities enabling agents to execute business actions.
Implement prompt engineering, reasoning workflows, memory management, and agent orchestration strategies.
Ensure backend and AI solutions meet security, compliance, privacy, and governance requirements.
Monitor, evaluate, and optimize agent performance, accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI automation opportunities.
Document architecture, deployment procedures, and technical designs.
Stay current with advancements in Generative AI, agentic AI, and emerging technologies.
