Job summary

LEE TECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior ACMV Engineer to lead mechanical projects focused on ACMV systems, spanning planning, site execution, testing, and commissioning. You will ensure compliance with Singapore codes, QA/QC, and client specs.

Responsibilities include coordinating installation, diagnosing system issues, documenting submissions, and mentoring junior engineers, with a focus on safety and quality across island-wide site work.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related.
• 3–5 years of hands-on ACMV/HVAC construction or maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project for drawings and scheduling.
• Solid knowledge of ACMV systems, testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with local codes and safety protocols.
• Ability to start immediately or on short notice.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ACMV system issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare and manage technical submissions, progress reports, tenders, variations, QA/QC packages, and manuals.
• Ensure all mechanical/ACMV works comply with local codes and safety requirements.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, and authorities to resolve site issues and manage variations.
• Assign tasks and mentor junior engineers to maintain high productivity and quality.

Job Summary

As a Senior ACMV Engineer at LEE TECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD., you will lead and coordinate mechanical engineering projects with a specialized focus on ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems. You will manage project delivery across all phases—from planning and site execution to testing and commissioning—ensuring compliance with Singapore regulatory codes, QA/QC standards, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Site Management: Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee ACMV installation, retrofitting, and maintenance projects to meet milestone schedules and quality standards.
• System Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in ACMV systems (e.g., chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, and piping networks) to ensure optimal operating efficiency.
• Documentation & Tendering: Prepare and manage technical submissions, progress reports, tender documents, variation orders, QA/QC packages, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.
• Quality & Code Compliance: Ensure all mechanical and ACMV works strictly adhere to local building codes (BCA/SS/CP), workplace safety policies, and project specifications.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities to resolve site issues, manage variations, and maintain excellent working relationships.
• Team Mentorship & Supervision: Assign tasks, guide site supervisors, and mentor junior project engineers to maintain high standards of site productivity and engineering quality.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience in ACMV / HVAC construction or maintenance projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (for reviewing and updating schematic/shop drawings) and MS Project (for baseline schedule tracking).
• Strong technical knowledge of ACMV systems, psychrometrics, equipment sizing, and testing and commissioning (T&C) procedures.
• Solid familiarity with local standards (such as SS 553 / CP 13) and site safety protocols.
• Independent problem solver with excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Able to start immediately or on short notice is an advantage.
