Job summary

Haldanes is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our expanding Accounts Team in Hong Kong. You will support the Finance Manager, supervise junior staff, and handle month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting tasks.

You will assist with the annual statutory and compliance audit, contribute to system enhancements and process improvements, and ensure compliance with the Hong Kong Law Society's Accounts Rules and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Relevant accounting experience in the legal industry.
• Strong awareness of compliance and accuracy.
• Knowledge of the Hong Kong Law Society's Accounts Rules.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; strong communication skills in English and Chinese.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Proven relevant accounting experience in the legal industry.
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and a strong awareness of compliance.
• Good understanding of the Hong Kong Law Society's Accounts Rules.
• A solid team player with a strong sense of ownership, excellent organizational abilities, effective communication skills, and a high level of integrity.
• Proficient PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Elite 3E is a distinct advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
