Job summary

Sino-Ocean Group Holding Limited seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the full set of accounts and ensure timely financial reporting. You will review vouchers, settlements and monthly management accounts, support audits, and liaise with auditors, bankers and the company secretarial team.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, ACCA/HKICPA membership, and at least 8 years in multinational or listed firms with China experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required.
• ACCA or HKICPA membership or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 8 years of practical experience in multinational or listed organizations; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (use of 用友 and Flex system) and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of HK and Mainland China tax, accounting standards and regulations.
• Hedge accounting knowledge is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, detail-minded and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiar with company secretarial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts independently and review payment settlements, vouchers, monthly management accounts and schedules.
• Ensure timely financial reporting to management.
• Support and ensure completion of annual financial audit.
• Coordinate with operations for management analysis and budget variance review.
• Handle taxation matters and support company secretarial accounting functions.
• Assist in preparing annual/interim reports.
• Liaise with external auditors, advisors and bankers independently.
• Review work done by subordinates and take up ad-hoc assignments.
