OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a seasoned regulatory reporting professional to ensure compliance with MAS/HKMA reporting requirements and disclosure notes. The role encompasses HKMA returns, local financial reporting, and management reporting, with opportunities to drive automation and data quality improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in bank accounting/reporting, and strong Chinese and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory rules.
• 5+ years’ experience in bank accounting/reporting, especially HKMA Rules.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• HKMA Returns and Surveys
• Head Office reporting, local financial reporting and financial disclosure of the Bank
• Internal management reports
• Other ad hoc reports
• Assess new regulatory and disclosure requirements, advise business units, and provide impact analysis to senior management.
• Drive automation, system enhancement and data quality improvement
• Drive and participate in projects for new and changing regulatory requirements
• Drive and participate in ad hoc projects assigned by supervisor
