Job summary

OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a finance professional to lead financial reporting and accounting oversight for non-bank subsidiaries, including statutory statements and regulatory disclosures.

You will manage month-end close, asset valuation, and liaise with external auditors, contributing to accurate reporting and financial controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with HKICPA 2-5 years' experience; strong Excel and bilingual communication in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; HKICPA 2–5 years' practical experience in financial reporting or management reporting in a reputable financial institution or sizable organisation.
• Experience in Big 4 or accounting firms a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal & presentation skills in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and control for non-bank subsidiaries; prepare statutory financial statements and regulatory disclosures.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes and liaise with auditors.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, valuation, disposals, and unlisted investments accounting.
• Coordinate with Head Office, regulators (HKMA) and management for reporting and variances.
• Participate in system enhancement and ad hoc projects.
