Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking an IT Support/Operations professional in Hong Kong to serve as the first line of IT support, manage endpoints, patching, and vulnerability remediation. The role emphasizes secure handling of access, identity, and threat prevention while enabling AI tools with guardrails.

You will work with a security‑minded team to protect users, data, and infrastructure, ensuring least privilege provisioning and timely onboarding/offboarding across devices and services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an IT support or IT operations role.
• Experience with identity and access management, MDM, and endpoint security tools.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and remediation processes.
• Understanding of AI tools and their security implications at work.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to keep operations running and meet SLAs.

Overview

Crypto.com is supported by a Security Team that leads the company’s Security, Privacy, and Security Compliance efforts. The team includes professionals with international patents in security technologies, under the guidance of a Chief Information Security Officer who reports to the CEO. The team maintains certifications such as ISO27001, ISO27701, ISO22301, PCI DSS 3.2.1 (Level 1), NIST Tier 4, SOC 2 Type II, and the MPI License from Singapore MAS.

We value hands-on experience, rapid learning, and strong teamwork to adapt to evolving security and crypto-threats while safeguarding users.

Responsibilities

• IT support: Be the first line of support for the organization. Resolve issues, meet SLAs, and keep operations moving.
• Endpoint management: Own the full lifecycle of devices — laptops, desktops, mobiles, and virtual desktops. Deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and related tasks.
• Patch management: Keep endpoints, workstations, cloud servers, and VDI environments up to date. Track patch needs, execute changes, and report on status.
• Vulnerability management: Run regular vulnerability scans, interpret results by risk, and drive remediation to closure.
• Access & identity: Manage user accounts and access rights. Enforce least privilege. Streamline provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Threat prevention: Implement and monitor security controls — endpoint protection, DLP, email security, network controls.
• Asset management: Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software and know where assets are located.
• Onboarding & offboarding: Provision access for new joiners and revoke access when people leave.
• AI enablement & security: Help teams adopt AI tools safely, assess risks such as prompt injection or data leakage, and track AI tool usage with appropriate guardrails.
• 3+ years in an IT support or IT operations role.
• Solid experience with identity and access management, MDM, and endpoint security tools.
• Some exposure to patch management and the broader scope beyond laptops.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and interpreting results.
• Understanding of AI tools and the security implications of their use at work.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly self-directed with an ability to advance projects without frequent external follow-up.

Nice-to-Haves

• IT or security certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, AWS, Microsoft Certified, etc.).
• Experience with physical office IT setup — networking gear, workstations, cabling.
• Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks.
• Exposure to large language model (LLM) security concepts — prompt injection, data leakage, etc.
• Experience in fast-paced or high-security environments.
