Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a SAP Specialist to lead day-to-day SAP FI/CO support and drive continuous improvement across APAC, serving as the regional technical authority and liaison with Global HQ. You will handle day-to-day SAP S/4HANA financial processes, manage GL/AR/AP/FA/Cost Centre configurations, train users, and document SOPs while traveling as needed.

The role offers a five-day week with remote options, flexible hours, and training plus bonuses; English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration experience.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets and Cost Centre Accounting.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support on SAP S/4HANA financial accounting processes to meet SLA, troubleshoot and resolve FI/CO issues.
• Analyse business requirements, provide training and lead workshops with finance key users, translate requirements into configurations following SAP best practices.
• Work closely with HQ team to implement financial optimization projects in the regions.
• Document system processes and configurations, prepare SOPs and user manuals related to FI/CO modules.

About the role

The SAP Specialist will lead the day-to-day support and continuous improvement of the SAP FI/CO modules, working closely with the headquarters SAP team to support all ongoing project implementations across APAC. In this role, you will be the primary technical authority for the SAP Finance and Controlling modules in the region, acting as the main liaison with Global HQ, ensuring the local SAP support meets our service level agreement and fully aligned with key strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support on SAP S/4HANA financial accounting processes to meet the agreed SLA, as well as troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI/CO related issues

• Analyse business requirements, provide training and lead interactive workshops with the finance key users, translate the financial requirements into system configurations following SAP best practices

• Work closely with HQ team to implement the financial optimization projects in the regions

• Document system processes and configurations, prepare standard operating procedures, user manuals related to FI/CO modules

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO configuration and financial accounting processes

• Strong technical knowledge of SAP Finance Accounting and Controlling including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets and Cost Centre Accounting

• Proven hands-on SAP S/4HANA technical and project management experience

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple regional priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Business travel is required

• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
