Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a hands-on accounting professional to handle daily operations including AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations, with responsibilities for month-end close and accurate financial reporting.

You will prepare financial statements, management reports, and analyses for internal stakeholders, support budgeting and forecasting, ensure compliance, liaise with auditors, and participate in process improvements within FMCG finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Pro qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
• Detail-minded, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, including AP/AR processing, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and relevant external parties.
• Participate in process improvement and digital transformation initiatives within the Finance team.
