Job summary

Hong Kong Centre for Logistics Robotics Limited is seeking an Engineer (Robot Software) to develop, integrate, and deploy software for mobile robots. You will work with ROS/ROS 2, Linux environments, and edge/onboard platforms like NVIDIA Jetson, RK3588/ RK3576, and Intel NUC. Strong C++/Python and OpenCV knowledge is essential.

The role emphasizes hands-on robotics software, embedded systems, debugging, and cross‑functional collaboration, with on‑site testing and deployment support in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Robotics/AI/related field.
• Strong C++ and Python development and debugging skills.
• Experience with ROS/ROS 2 for integrating robotics software modules.
• Linux development environments and standard tools familiarity.
• Knowledge of OpenCV and computer vision fundamentals.
• Practical robotics software experience and embedded systems work.
• Strong problem-solving, hands-on ability, and teamwork; English reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and integrate software for mobile robots.
• Build robotic applications and interfaces using ROS/ROS 2.
• Integrate and debug perception, control, comms, and data modules.
• Deploy and optimize robotics algorithms on edge/onboard platforms (Jetson, RK, Intel NUC).
• Compile, configure, and maintain software in Linux environments.
• Contribute data collection tools, hardware interfaces, and test workflows.
• Support physical robot testing, on-site debugging, and deployment.
• Author and maintain technical docs, test records, and deployment guides.
