Job summary

NexusSearch International Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Manager/Assistant Manager for Retail Client Onboarding & KYC to oversee high-throughput digital account opening for individual and wealth clients.

You will balance smooth customer experience with strict identity verification, NFTF compliance, and sanctions screening, while partnering with product and IT to optimize the onboarding workflow. Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Several years of experience in retail onboarding or client onboarding within a brokerage or digital wealth platform.
Knowledge of SFC rules and data privacy regulations.
Ability to manage high-volume onboarding with strict turnaround times.
Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.
Proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Review and process daily retail account applications via apps and portals, verifying documents.
Ensure NFTF compliance according to SFC guidelines.
Screen against sanctions lists and escalate suspicious hits.
Maintain client data accuracy and update records.
Collaborate with Customer Service and Retail Sales to resolve issues.
Work with product and IT on UAT for onboarding optimizations.
