Job summary

Pando Finance Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Responsible Officer to oversee SFC Type 1 activities and supervise daily operations, ensuring full regulatory compliance across trading, settlement, and onboarding processes.

The role requires leadership and strong communication, with English fluency and Cantonese or Mandarin. A strategic mindset to support new business models and target achievement is essential.

Qualifications

• Current SFC Type 1 unconditional RO status.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services with regulatory exposure.
• Strong leadership and ability to guide cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent English; Cantonese or Mandarin required.
• Knowledge of Virtual Assets, OTC derivatives, or structured products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Responsible Officer for SFC Type 1 activities.

Act as Responsible Officer (RO) for SFC Type 1 regulated activities.

Managerial and supervisory responsibilities to ensure full compliance of operations.

Oversee daily business transaction include trading, settlement, adhere to risk management guidelines and regulatory requirements

In charge of onboarding.

Supervise and manage staffs on daily operations to comply with the internal policies, statutory rules and regulations

Assisting the Senior Management in formulating business strategies and developing new business models and services to achieve sales targets;

Job Requirements

Must be a current holder of SFC Type 1 unconditional RO status

At least 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of SFC regulations and guidelines.

Possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Fluency in English and (Cantonese or Mandarin) is required.

Candidates with exposure to Virtual Assets (Crypto), OTC derivatives, or structured products would be an advantage. CVAP is highly preferred.
