Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead site operations across assigned projects. You will implement site policies, supervise contractor performance and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of construction safety and regulations, and the ability to coordinate handovers to internal divisions while addressing defects and complaints promptly. Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Professional qualifications MCIOB, MHKICM, MHKIE or equivalent.
• Knowledge of 4S/BIM/DWSS.
• Min 10 years in construction management with managerial roles.
• PM experience on residential projects from start to handover.
• Familiar with site safety, environmental regulations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Implement site management policies and supervise assigned sites.
• Manage contractors to quality standards and monitor progress.
• Identify delays or issues and coordinate prompt solutions.
• Endorse consultant's resident site staff selections.
• Oversee handover of completed projects to other divisions.
• Follow up on complaints and defects with timely rectification.
• Ensure compliance with site safety and statutory regulations.
