Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Resident Safety Officer (Construction) for on-site duties in Hong Kong. You will oversee routine safety supervision, identify unsafe acts, and ensure corrective actions across a building site, with reporting to the Client and Contract Administrator.

The role requires a Safety Officer and Safety Auditor registration, 10+ years of site experience, and fluency in English and Chinese. Weekend duty may be required with compensated time off.

Qualifications

• Registered as Safety Officer and Safety Auditor under Labour Department.
• Minimum 10 years’ solid construction site experience.
• Hospital project, or client-side or client facing project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Need to be on duty on Saturday and Sunday with time off compensation as assigned.

Job Description
