EdUHK’s Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology is seeking a Research Assistant II for a 6-month project on Employment Trend-aware Personalized Job Recommender Algorithms. The appointee will contribute to data-driven analyses, boundary constraint mechanisms and knowledge editing for regulated LLM role-play generation.

There will be opportunities for manuscript writing and publications in international journals or conferences. The initial appointment will be for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of renewal, subject to performance and mutual agreement.
Applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects, including Chinese, English (Syllabus B), and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent. A Bachelor's Degree or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Medical Information Engineering or a closely related discipline with expertise in data science or artificial intelligence will be an advantage. They should have hands-on experience in programming and background knowledge in generative artificial intelligence. Applicants should have good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be mature and able to work independently. Preference will be given to those with research and/or project development experience. Since healthcare is one of the focus areas of this project, applicants with a medical or healthcare background and solid Python programming skills are more than welcome.
