Job summary

STERRY is seeking a Technical Designer / Pattern Maker to join our remote team. You will translate design sketches into production-ready digital patterns and manage complex tech packs for intimate wear.

You will lead 3D prototyping, digital grading, and file handoffs to factories worldwide, while maintaining BOMs, measurements, and pattern integrity. A strong portfolio and expert CAD software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of expert-level digital pattern-making software experience.
• 3–5 years in apparel technical design and pattern drafting, intimate wear preferred.
• Strong remote-work setup with a portfolio required.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex garment construction independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs and patterns for intimate wear.
• Build and maintain digital tech packs with BOM and measurement charts.
• Lead or participate in remote fit sessions via video.
• Establish and grade spec across sizes.
• Collaborate with overseas and domestic factories via PLM or email.
• Create CAD patterns, 3D prototypes, and perform digital grading and nesting.
• Organize and deliver clean digital pattern files to factories.
