Job summary

Binance is seeking a data analyst/scientist to analyze and model large data sets and build an algorithmic system for extracting valuable information beyond standard methods. You will lead a multidisciplinary Data Analyst team, creating complex visualizations and analytical models to aid compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analyst/Data Science.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or engineering field.
• Experience with SQL, R, and Python.
• Solid experience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, etc.).
• Familiar with large data volumes and big data technologies (Hadoop, Redshift, Spark, Presto, Hive).
• Experience with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, mine, and model large volumes of data to build an algorithmic system for valuable information.
• Lead a multidisciplinary Data Analyst team and design complex visualizations and analytical models for compliance or regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with compliance to identify and deliver impactful analytical use cases; translate findings into visuals and recommendations.
• Analyze PB-scale transactional, operational, and customer data using proprietary and open-source tools.
• Support data requests from business stakeholders and assess impact of changes.
• Work closely with compliance to identify and deliver on top analytical use cases.
