Sleek in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and prepare full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients based in Hong Kong and Mainland China in a remote capacity.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of HK Accounting Standards, proficiency with Xero and Excel, and fluency in Mandarin and English to serve international clients efficiently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or corporate setting.
• Solid understanding of Hong Kong Accounting Standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; strong data accuracy.
• Native-level Mandarin with strong English communication for international clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and record clients' daily financial transactions; ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and month-end close processes.
• Maintain full sets of accounts for multiple clients; assist in monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules—AP/AR, accruals, prepayments; support SME financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with SME-FRS where applicable and accurate reporting.
