Nomura, a global financial services leader, is seeking a Managing Director, Group Head for its International Wealth Management division in Hong Kong. You will lead a team of professional Relationship Managers focused on Greater China, with accountability for client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic hiring to drive revenue growth across HK, China, and Taiwan.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or Finance or related disciplines.
  • Proven track record of minimum 15 years+ of banking experience in wealth management or private banking.
  • Strong ability in leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, products and services.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, communication and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of professional and personal integrity, ensuring all work activities meet the high compliance standards of the Bank and are performed in line with internal and external guidelines and regulatory policies.
  • Drive to succeed and ability to work independently and as a team.

  • Responsible for the Hong Kong booking center for Wealth Management.

  • Responsible for hiring and expanding the Greater China Team.
  • Monitoring and driving team performance through the accomplishment of revenue and AUM target.
  • Focus on key clients relationship and management in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
  • Cultivate and deepen trusting long term relationships with new and existing U/HNW individuals.
  • Conduct strategic planning and discussion with wholesale senior management.
  • Comply with bank and regulatory requirements and all applicable money laundering prevention procedures both in Hong Kong/Singapore and in the specific geographical area.

Role Description

Manage a team of professional Relationship Managers in HK to focus on Greater China Business.
