Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Registered Lift Engineer to support new lift equipment projects in Hong Kong. You will lead technical oversight from planning to commissioning and ensure compliance with the Lifts and Escalators Ordinance and HK regulations.

You will liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities, review drawings and safety docs, and oversee installation teams to deliver quality, safety and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Lift Engineer with EMSD in HK.
• Minimum 5 years of lift/escalator engineering experience.
• Knowledge of HK lift regulations and codes of practice.
• Experience in project execution, testing, commissioning, QA.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient with MS Office and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Registered Lift Engineer for new lift installation projects.
• Provide technical oversight through planning, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with Lifts and Escalators Ordinance and company safety standards.
• Review drawings, risk assessments and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities on technical matters.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution during project execution.
• Prepare reports, certification documentation and submissions.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to installation and project teams.
