Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Onboarding Analyst for a Private Banking team. You will support KYC reviews, EDD, and client documentation, ensuring accurate risk profiling and timely account maintenance.

Fluency in English and Chinese is required, with strong analytical and regulatory understanding, and regional exposure to markets such as Australia being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of KYC/AML processes and documentation, including CIP, ownership structures, trigger events, and Source of Wealth/Funds requirements.
• Understanding of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support KYC reviews and account maintenance for private banking clients including Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) reviews.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Review client and Sales documentation, and follow up on missing or inconsistent information.
• Validate key client risk information, including Source of Wealth, Source of Funds, and Total Net Worth.
• Ensure periodic and event-driven reviews are completed on time and properly documented, and track outstanding requirements.
• Support process improvement, change, and remediation initiatives.
• Escalate high-risk clients and trigger events for further review.
