Job summary

CBRE seeks a Regional Finance Analyst in Hong Kong to apply advanced cash and accrual accounting to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete financial reports for a diverse portfolio of clients and properties.

You will handle journal entries, review packaging, and assist management with benchmarking and performance metrics to ensure timely, accurate reporting within CBRE procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2–5 years of relevant experience or combination of experience and education.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for complex calculations.

Responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced accounting transactions for client financial statements.
• Create and post journal entries; ensure all expenses and distributions are accurately posted.
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
• Review funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization.
• Respond to and resolve complex accounting issues for management and clients.
• Identify potential issues and take corrective actions to minimize problems.
• Support maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
• Apply standard accounting principles to routine tasks and procedures.
• Maintain broad knowledge across finance disciplines within the function.
• Model CBRE RISE values and drive team collaboration and reliability.
