Job summary

Fidelity (Far East) Trading Company Limited in Shanghai or Hong Kong seeks an Investment Analyst to join our Equity Research team. You will cover regional stocks, provide investment ideas to Portfolio Managers, and rotate sectors and countries every 3–4 years.

The role requires an MBA or CFA or equivalent, at least 5 years in equities research, strong financial analysis and communication skills, plus fluency in English. Travel about 20% of the region is expected.

Qualifications

• MBA/CFA or equivalent
• 5+ years of equities research experience
• Excellent financial analytical skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Willing to obtain relevant practitioner license
• Travel about 20% of the region

Responsibilities

• Analyze assigned stock list (approx. 25–30 names) and ramp coverage within 12 months.
• Maintain current stock ratings (1=strong buy to 5=strong sell).
• Publish regular equity reports and communicate views to Portfolio Managers.
• Host company meetings for Portfolio Managers and provide industry updates.
