Job summary

Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a Regional Assistant Operations & Distribution Manager in Hong Kong. The role reports to the Regional Distribution Planning Manager and focuses on packaging, POSM management, forecasting, and stock monitoring to align with sales and campaigns.

The position emphasizes operational backbone duties, daily issue resolution, inventory accuracy, and collaboration with HQ logistics. A luxury retail background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, international distribution, regional stock management or product planning.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin and French are a plus.
• Proficient with SAP/Google Looker and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Packaging and POSM management: define target stock levels, manage forecasts and orders, monitor stock, liaise with HQ logistics and support regional/projects.
• Operations: act as operational backbone, resolve daily administrative, system and logistics issues, maintain inventory accuracy and manage defective stock.

Are you a good match?

You have relevant experience in merchandising, international distribution, regional stock management and or product planning, ideally within the luxury retail industry. You communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with HQ, regional teams, and local markets. You are analytical and detail-oriented, organized and proactive, experienced in business planning systems (i.e. SAP/Google Looker) and proficient in using MS Office. You are fluent in English; Mandarin and French is a plus.

What are we expecting from you?

As the Regional Assistant Operations & Distribution Manager, you will be reporting to the Regional Distribution Planning Manager. In this function you will:

Packaging and POSM management

• Define target stock levels and propose adjustments aligned with sales trends, budgets and campaigns.
• Handle forecasts, orders and shipment follow-up with markets.
• Monitor stock to prevent shortages or overstocking, and elevate risks with action plans.
• Liaise with HQ logistics on troubleshooting and run monthly distribution calls.
• Support change management with regional and market supply teams on new projects.

Operations

• Act as the operational backbone, resolving daily administrative, system and logistics issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, fix system discrepancies and manage defective stock.
