Job summary

Ambition in Hong Kong is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to own the end-to-end recruitment journey from job brief to placement and beyond. You will build client relationships, grow your candidate network and develop market expertise to become a trusted advisor.

You’ll be measured on billing targets and activity, contribute to Ambition’s culture, and develop the competencies expected at your level as you progress.

• Experience in recruitment, sales, or business development.
• Agency recruitment or talent acquisition background is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial mindset with client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment assignments from brief to placement
• Develop and execute business development strategies to win new clients
• Turn prospects into long-term clients through proactive relationship building
• Build and maintain high-quality candidate networks and talent pools
• Develop trusted relationships with candidates throughout their career journey
• Generate referrals through existing candidates and networks
• Conduct in-depth candidate assessments aligned with client requirements
• Support candidates through interview preparation, offers, and post-placement engagement
• Gather feedback from clients to strengthen relationships after placement
• Develop your market knowledge and professional presence in your vertical

As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll work as a 360-degree recruiter, managing the full recruitment journey from job brief through to successful placement and beyond. Depending on your experience, you’ll build and manage client relationships, grow your candidate network, develop your market expertise and contribute to the continued growth of Ambition. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, relationship-driven and motivated to become a market expert and trusted advisor within their area of specialisation.

• Experience in recruitment, sales, business development, account management, customer relationship management or a related field
• Previous agency recruitment or talent acquisition experience is advantageous

• Confidence in building and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates
