Job summary

Agilis Robotics Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a mechanical design engineer to prepare drawings, design prototypes, and support installations. The role covers documentation reviews and collaboration with vendors across projects, with travel required.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and is proficient in SOLIDWORKS and KeyShot, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above degree in a related discipline.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and Key Shot.
• Experience in solution sourcing and procurement is a plus.
• Responsible, independent with strong problem-solving skills. Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Innovative and research minds are preferred.
• Frequent travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical drawings and industrial design drawings.
• Assist mechanical and electronics installation.
• Design prototypes according to features and specifications.
• Provide technical support for experimental set-ups & trials.
• Review and prepare documentation such as functional specification, technical specification and test plan.
• Assist vendor negotiation and site examination.
• Work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute the plan.
• Support any other tasks as assigned by team lead.
