Job summary

Recruit is seeking an R&D Electronics Engineer to join our hardware lifecycle team in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. You will collaborate with software engineers to integrate sensors and communication modules into data center products, from concept to production support.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware design, prototyping, debugging in Linux, and vendor management, with opportunities to work with ESP32, STM32, and EasyEDA. Strong collaboration across regions is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• 1-3 years experience in hardware design, electronics repair, or embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in EasyEDA; KiCad/Altium a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ESP32/ESP-IDF, Arduino or STM32; peripherals I2C/SPI/UART.

Responsibilities

• PCB Design & Development using EasyEDA; manage BOMs and suppliers.
• Prototyping & Assembly of prototype boards and initial testing.
• IoT & Sensor Integration with ESP32, Wi-Fi, Ethernet into iDCmini solutions.
• Firmware prototyping with software engineers to verify hardware before full integration.
• Technical support for hardware issues and field feedback.
• Vendor management for electronic components and supplier relations.
• Documentation including wiring diagrams and test reports.
