Job summary

PERSOL Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Quality Manager / Assistant Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and technical execution for major apparel brands. You will lead end-to-end QA activities from pre-production to final inspection across global vendor networks.

The role requires 5–8 years in apparel QA, strong garment tech skills, and travel to overseas facilities in Asia. Fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Textile & Clothing, Fashion Technology, Quality Management, or related disciplines.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on quality management experience in apparel sourcing, trading, or manufacturing environments; Assistant Quality Manager considered for less tenure.
• Strong technical acumen in garment construction, pattern making, fitting, and fabric performance, esp. woven & knit apparel.

• Drive end-to-end quality standards, technical compliance, and operational excellence across global vendor networks.
• Oversee and manage multiple international brands, with focus on US markets.
• Provide robust technical direction across multi-product apparel categories from pre-production through final inspection.

• Conduct overseas factory audits and site evaluations to maintain capability and compliance across hubs (Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, China).

Our client is a well-established, global apparel sourcing and supply chain management conglomerate with an extensive international manufacturing footprint. To support continued business growth across key overseas accounts, they are currently seeking a dynamic and technically sound Quality Manager / Assistant Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and technical execution across major global brand portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving end-to-end quality standards, technical compliance, and operational excellence across global vendor networks.

• Oversee and managing multiple international brands, with a strong focus on US markets.

• Provide robust technical direction across multi-product apparel categories, with a strong emphasis on all-round garments (highly preferred Woven & Knit), from pre-production through final inspection.

• Formulate and implement comprehensive quality assurance protocols, risk assessment procedures, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to minimize defect rates and delivery delays.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders (Merchandising, Fabric/Technical, Compliance) and offshore factory management to resolve technical, fitting, and construction roadblocks.

• Conduct regular overseas factory audits and site evaluations across manufacturing hubs (including Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Mainland China) to maintain factory capability and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Textile & Clothing, Fashion Technology, Quality Management, or related disciplines.

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on quality management experience in apparel sourcing, trading, or manufacturing environments; candidates with slightly less managerial tenure will be considered for Assistant Quality Manager.

• Strong technical acumen in garment construction, pattern making, fitting, and fabric performance, particularly in woven & knit apparel (all-round multi-category product experience is a solid advantage).

• Proven track record in managing teams and collaborating with US retail/brand buyers and offshore vendor bases.

• Dynamic, hands-on, proactive leadership style with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Willingness to travel to overseas manufacturing facilities in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia) and Mainland China as needed.

• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
