Job summary

Taylor Dunn International in Hong Kong is seeking a Manager, Quality to lead the entire quality function within the Supply Chain & Operations team. You will report to the VP Supply Chain & Operations, operating independently of Production to grant or hold shipment releases.

The role involves completing the Certified Factory QC Programme, building the broader quality system across China and Vietnam, and overseeing a distributed QC team.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in QA / quality management in consumer goods (bags, accessories, apparel or footwear preferred).
• Hands-on factory-floor inspection and QC programme management.
• REACH / RSL / Prop 65 compliance for globally distributed product.
• Experience leading QC inspectors across multiple geographies.
• Degree in Engineering, Quality, Materials Science or related; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Six Sigma a plus.
• Strong English; Mandarin strongly preferred for factory work.

Responsibilities

• Quality standards, AQL protocols and inspection methodologies, plus the annual Quality Manual.
• The Certified Factory QC Programme — certification criteria, factory QC training and audits.
• Bulk-order inspection sign-off — shipment release, conditional release or hold.
• Vendor quality reviews and defect reduction (target under 0.5%), root cause and CAPA.
• REACH / RSL / Prop 65 compliance across global distribution.
• Warranty and consumer-feedback trend analysis.
• A small, distributed QC team across China & Vietnam.

• We are partnering with a globally recognised premium travel & lifestyle accessories brand to hire a Manager, Quality into their Supply Chain & Operations team in Hong Kong.
• This is a step-up opportunity for a strong QA lead, senior QA engineer or existing Quality Manager ready to own the entire quality function at a globally recognised brand.
• You'll report directly to the VP Supply Chain & Operations — deliberately independent of Production, so Quality holds the authority to hold or release shipments without scheduling pressure.
• The business is in growth phase with a lean structure. You'll take a part-built Certified Factory QC Programme through to completion and build out the broader quality management system across contract manufacturing in China and Vietnam.

• Salary: HKD 50,000–70,000/month base + discretionary bonus (10–15%) + benefits — c. HKD 720–840K total package
