Job summary

Waller Ma Huang & Yeung Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a dedicated Legal Clerk / Paralegal to support its Property and Private Client teams. The role involves probate, tenancy, and conveyancing work, assisting solicitors in preparing documents and handling filings.

You will liaise with clients and regulators, maintain accurate files, and enjoy on‑the‑job training with a supportive team. English and Cantonese are essential; Putonghua is an advantage. MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in probate, tenancy, and/or conveyancing preferred, training provided if needed.
• Able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese; Cantonese essential; Putonghua an advantage.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and comfortable with digital filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in probation applications and estate administration documents.
• Draft and review tenancy agreements, renewal documents and related correspondence.
• Support conveyancing transactions, including sale/purchase, mortgage, and assignment docs.
• Conduct land and company searches, stamping, and registration formalities.
• Liaise with clients, government departments and financial institutions.
• Maintain accurate files and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Handle general administrative and clerical duties as required.
